Dear Parents/ Caregivers

Welcome to Room 1

This year the teachers in room 1 are Mrs Gidget Mendonca and Mrs Babette Van Niekerk.

We are looking forward to a year of fun learning and working together to help our children to succeed in being responsible and successful learners. 

We encourage students to come to class by 8.30 am to interact and settle before school starts.

These summer holidays I went camping to Whangarei with my family. We spend time lazing on the beach and took a boat ride to the limestone island in Matakohe. 

We also took a trip to Hamilton and visited the "Lavender farm" and went 'Blueberry picking". It was a fun and exciting experience.   

 Beautiful purple lavender like a bed.

Big bunches of blueberries, but we picked only the dark blue ones that are sweet.
